Fun Homemade Oreo Cookie Recipe

Homemade Oreo Cookies
makes about three dozen

2 boxes devil’s food cake mix
1 1/3 cups shortening
4 eggs
Cream cheese frosting

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Mix all ingredients together except the cream cheese frosting. The dough will be stiff. Once dough is combined, roll dough into balls of any size. I usually use a teaspoon to dip out the dough. It is best to try to make the dough balls approximately the same size. Place dough balls on cookie sheets and bake for approximately 8-10 minutes or until done. Allow cookies to cool on cookie sheets for a couple minutes then remove to cooling racks or paper towels.Once all cookies are baked and cooled, frost the backside of one cookie with as much cream cheese frosting as you like and top with another cookie to make a sandwich. Voila!

Decorating

Some people think, 4th of July, big deal. But for me, I celebrate every holiday like it will never happen again. Every holiday, I jump around decorating and doing crafts. It brings the best out of me!

Some of you may know, I have a website for me and my friends. Caitlin and I, one day decided to make a website a long time ago. During Christmas I decorated the website like its a Christmas Tree! At Halloween you will get spooked as you go along through the website.

I guess its just a part of my personallity- I LOVE TO DECORATE FOR THE HOLIDAYS!

My New Contacts!

Yesterday I got contacts! I am so exited about them. This morning when I was putting them in, I couldn't get it off my finger. I got to go swimming with my new goggles and I could see the real underwater! I was so exited. All the time my sisters are always staring at me whenever I am taking them out or putting them back in.

Our New Pool!

We have been out there everyday. We love to make up cool games with our intertubes.

One of our favorite games in the pool is "White Water Rafting"

a.k.a Grizzly Bear Rapids or Kali Rapids from Disneyland and Disney World. We use our intertubes and jump up and down until we get HUGE waves and ride around in them. If you every try it, WARNING you will get unexpentant wave that come staright for you!

Kristi- Part 2

The next day, we came down Hollywood Street when we ran into Kristi. She asked us where we were headed. We told her the Tower of Terror because we were going to ride it one more time. It was our last day at Disneyland so we were doing all we could. Later when we were standing there in front of Tower of Terror. One of us spotted Kristi near the entrance. We all shouted "Kristi" and went to hug her. It turns out that Kristi was waiting for us and she had Special Honorary Citizen pins that Disneyland workers only give out to Special Guests. She also gave us cute little Disney Cards and a sticker that says "I took the DARE!" She told us that they usually only give those stickers to the first family who comes to ride the Tower of Terror, but we were totally worth it. Well, before one of us spotted Kristi, we were standing there debating if we should go on the ride because it was about a 1 hour wait.
Kristi then escorted us though the Fast Pass line. Then she told us that she would ride with us. So we got on, and I got to ride next to Kristi. We ended up buying the picture. This time Brianne had her hands up (which is really unusual), but I think its because Kristi convinced Brianne that there was Pixie Dust in her sticker and button. Again, another Tower of Terror picture, the fourth.

Our Disneyland Trip- Kristi Part One

Wow, I don't know where to start! We had such a blast and met so many people.
One thing that sticks out to me, though was the Bellhop we met in The Hollywood Tower Hotel.Tower of Terror- and for Grandpa and Grandma Avery "The Tower of Terra". Here name was Kristi.
The story starts when the line for Tower of Terror was very short, and we just walked straight thought to the Service Elevator. Kristi, our Bellhop told us to stand in row 6 because we had 4 people (Dad, Victoria, Caitlin, and Me) We stood and we waited, but no one else came to get on the elevator, so Kristi asked us "Would you guys like to go on the ride alone?" we all said YES! in excitement. We waited until the elevator was ready, and went in. Kristi said since there was only 4 of us we could sit wherever we wanted. So all of us spread out. When we buckled up, she checked our seat belts. There was only 4 to check so she checked them and started talking and told us she had a certain amount of time to check seat belts. She only needed to check 4, so she talked to us and we asked her questions.
After the ride when we returned Kristi asked us if we wanted to go again. We said yes! So we didn't even have to leave the elevator, just move to row 6 because some people would be joining us. After the ride we said bye to Kristi and she gave us special permission to ask the person at the front desk for the number of the picture so we could buy it. We ended up buying the picture of just ourselves.
